Kristen Anne Bell is an American actor and singer born in the year 1980. Her birthplace was Huntington Woods and raised there. She is the daughter of Lorelei Frygier as well as Tom Bell. Kristen is Polish (mother's) as well as German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen realized her potential in the world of entertainment when she was just a teenager. She went to her audition in 1992 and was offered an appearance on Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell had an agent appointed by her mother at the age of 13 and was cast as a model on newspapers and television commercials. Also, she began acting lessons in private at that time. Bell made an appearance as a guest in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 as an uncredited actor. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School, where she was a member of the both the music and drama club. The Wizard of Oz was performed by her high school and she won the part as Dorothy. Bell was accepted to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theatre after graduating. Bell quit the school in 2001 and took on the part of Becky, a character from Tom Sawyer. It was also in 2001 that Bell made her first appearance in a film that was credited to her, Pootie Tang (2002). However, her part is cut off and only the credits show her. Bell was seen together with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
