Her birth name is Christina Haack in Anaheim, California on the 9th July 1983. Her first job out of school was in the industry of real estate. It was through this that she met her future husband Tarek El Moussa. They enjoyed a lot of prosperity until the 2008 stock market crash that witnessed many real estate investors as well as homeowners who were flippers fail. Tarek El Moussa was nearly destroyed by the 2008 crash. Their house was valued at $700 per week, compared to the $6,000 they had been paying per month for their home. Their businesses and the economy gradually rebounded. HGTV & Rise to Fame Tarek asked an acquaintance to create an HGTV video audition in 2011, which featured him as well as Christina flipping the entire home. Pie Town Productions, a production firm located in New York City received the audition tape. They fell in love with Tarek & Christina. In 2012, the couple signed a contract with HGTV. Flip of Flop premiered April 2013 For seven seasons, the show was broadcast between 2013-2017. On the show, Christina and Tarek would buy properties, typically mid-income homes situated in Orange County, and would then proceed to spend several weeks completing upgrades in order that they could sell the home for a profit. Tarek is in charge of demolition, renovations and design. Christina keeps everything running according to schedule.
