Actor and country-pop singer and writer Jana Kramer rose to fame through television, where she was part of the team on One Tree Hill as Alex for its final three seasons. Her first few releases as a country singer were featured on episodes of the series helping her debut album of the same name in the top 20 in the Billboard 200. Thirty One (2015), the album that followed it in 2015, also reached into the Top Ten. Over the past decade, she appeared as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars as she did in TV films and a number of television shows. There were also several singles, but they did not appear on albums. The self-doubting Voices was released in 2021. Growing up in Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer was a country music fanatic growing up. music and would eventually be pursuing a recording career. However, she made her debut as an actor who made her screen debut in the 2002 indie horror film Dead/Undead as she was in her teen years. Guest spots on shows such as All My Children and CSI: NY followed over the next few years until she landed the recurring part as Noelle Davenport on NBC's Friday Night Lights in the course of the show's second season, 2007-2008. Kramer was later cast to appear as Portia Ranson on 90210 (2008-2009) as well as Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009) and then was tapped for One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until half way through its last season (2012). Jana Kramer Kramer, during her stint on One Tree Hill signed with Elektra Records. She debuted modern country track I Won't Give Up in a 2011 One Tree Hill episode. By the middle of 2012, the song was featured on her first full-length album Jana Kramer. The second album of Kramer's Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th, 2015. Thanks to the Top Five country hit I Got the Boy as well as an duet with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it was even more successful, achieving number three on country's albums chart, and tenth in the Billboard 200. The album was released after a period of two months in the 22nd Dancing with the Stars season, she finished in fourth place. Also, it was the year that she scored an adult-contemporary success with her song Feels like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser.
