Angelica Bengtsson

Angelica Therese Bengtsson (Swedish track and fields athlete) is well-known for her pole vaulting abilities. She was the very first female winner of the pole vault at the inaugural Summer Youth Olympics in Singapore 2010. Bengtsson was crowned gold medalist at both World Youth Championships of 2009 as well as the World Junior Championships of 2010 in Athletics. Angelica Panganiban, born on 4 November 1986 in Payatas (Quezon City) was the daughter of a Filipina mother. Her mother's biological father is a Filipina who passed away in 2008 and is buried in Singapore and her father Mark Charlson is an American born in Iowa United States and a former member in the US Navy. Mark Charlson her father is retired U.S. Navy from Iowa. He was a member of the U.S.S. O'Brien, stationed in the Philippines. Annabelle was her caregiver from a very young age.
